Stopped while on the way to Thurso for a coffee. Ended up getting a pizza as it smelled so good! We loved it - we're Italians so bonus points! They also have vegan cheese. Enjoyed the lovely view as well.
A perfect place to stop for lunch. Family owned and operated and they treat their customers like they are welcome to be there. The pizza and coffee and excellent.
Stopped for a spot of lunch. What a wonderful place! Very attentive and friendly staff with a great menu. Dog (on a lead) friendly. Fantastic views. Would definitely recommend and return.
And then in the middle of nowhere came this vision of a modern, super smart cafe full of yummy food. And, of course, I had to dive in! Coffee was excellent, focaccia too and the cheesecake just perfect. And oasis in the wilderness!
We stopped by for an early dinner whilst staying at the kyle of tongue hostel. Plenty of parking at the front, and with both indoor and outdoor seating. The staff were friendly and attentive, they found us a corner where we could sit with our rather large and friendly dog and gave him lots of attention! The food was delicious, we went for both a pizza and macaroni cheese to share. Both full of flavour and cooked well. We noticed the cakes looked really good however we were full so didn't get any Highly recommend!
If you're touring around Scotland you just have to grab some food here. Super friendly staff and great focaccia's. They were prepared with all fresh ingredients and tasted amazing to say the least. Even if it's not along your planned route, take a detour to stop by here and you will not regret it
Absolute gem of a place. We both had the chicken, avocado, spinach and mozzarella Foccacio sandwiches which were honestly the best sandwiches we have ever had. All with views to die for over the beaches/coastline amd lovely service from the lady owner. Cant recommend highly enough - right on the NC500 route too.
Superb stop on NC500. Not to miss...delicious coffee, nice pizza and scenery / view which is amazing (an understatement). There are benches outside and seating inside as well. Ample parking, clean toilets. Nice bakery. A Must stop.
